ISRO is planning to send India’s first ever international space station called the Bharat Space Station into orbit. The robotic module will weigh 8 tonnes and prepare the way for future missions, such as sending astronauts into space by 2035.

The launch of this mission was confirmed by ISRO chairman S Somnath who stated that it would reach the L-1 point on January 6, providing vital data concerning the dynamics of the Sun.

Today a piece of news was released from the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) which reported that India will launch its first international space station in 2028. The first component of the International Space Station (ISS) will weigh 8 tonnes and will be an engineering marvel.

It means that ISRO is working on a new rocket with capability to carry a payload of 20-1,215 tons in contrast to India where it can only carry10 tons as of now. ISS is expected to be used as the foundation for future ISRO missions and sending astronauts into space by ISS mission by 2035.

On January 6, The Aditya L-1 mission, which is India’s first space-based observatory designed for studying solar atmosphere, will reach the L1 point. Understanding such data would be highly beneficial to both India and the rest of the world scientific community since it would help them understand better solar dynamics and its effect on living things.

India is set to launch the first module of ISS which will be a major development in the current space station. The initial module will weigh eight tonnes due to the restrictions of the present LVM-3 rocket with 10 tonne capability.

The launch of subsequent modules, weighing between 20 and 25 tonnes, will require an even more powerful one that is currently under development. ISRO expects the advanced rocket to be completed within seven years and be fully operational by 2035.

As for India, it wants to build a space station within twenty five years so as to become technologically strong and then embark on Mars, moon and Venus exploration. Somanath stresses that wealth accumulation or having a big army does not guarantee future.

The chairman of ISRO has said that during the Amrit Kal, India will have its own ‘Bharat Space Station,’ according to All India Radio News.

India’s contribution to the worldwide space missions and advances in the field of space exploration has been earned through successful achievements by ISRO in this regard. India’s relentless efforts and innovative strategies have put it among the major players in global space activities, a position that is properly attributed to ISRO. –(IVNTV)
