Samsung is preparing for the announcement of very next flagship-series smart devices entitled as Galaxy S24 on 17th day of January 2024 at Unpacked in San Jose of California. The Galaxy S24 lineup will include three models:
The Galaxy S24, the Galaxy S24+, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Ahead of the official announcement, we've obtained some exclusive leaked images and details about the Galaxy S24 series, thanks to the folks over at Arsène Lupin on X (formerly Twitter).
Galaxy S24 design and colors
The leaked images do not only show the design but also reveal the color variants for Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. All three phones have a very neat and premium design with very thin and uniform bezels around the screen.
The display has a punch-hole cutout at the center for the selfie camera, which is said to be a 12MP sensor. The screen size starts from 6.1 inches in the Galaxy S24, 6.7 inches in the Galaxy S24+, and 6.8 inches in the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The resolution that all three phones get is QHD+, with HDR10+ and boasting 2,600 nits peak brightness.
The rear cameras and the LED flash are presented in the rectangular camera module located at the back of the phones. While the Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy S24+ have triple rear cameras and an LED flash, the Galaxy S24 Ultra packs a quad rear camera. The details regarding the camera specifications are reviewed later on in the article.
Regarding phones, they are mentioned that they arrive in a metal frame along the glass back, where it is claimed that the Galaxy S24 Ultra uses titanium for durability. The phones are expected to come with Gorilla Glass Armor screen protection, IP68 rating, stereo speakers, NFC, Samsung Pay, and a USB 3.2 Type-C port.
The Galaxy S24 series will be made available in four color variants each with the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra receiving some exclusive colors. These are the S24 and the S24+ available in colors such as Black, Purple, White and Yellow.
The other product is the Galaxy S24 Ultra scoring in ccolors such as Black, Gray, Violet, Yellow. The color choices look appealing with the Yellow one looking like it has a matte finish.
Galaxy S24 performance and battery
In the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung will use the new most powerful processors of its own production and from Qualcomm. The Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy S24+ will be powered by Exynos 2400 in all countries of the world except Canada, China, and the USA. In all likelihood, for these three countries, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 For Galaxy processor's phones will be used.
Galaxy S24 Ultra is said to make use of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 For Galaxy chipset throughout all countries in the world. All processing units come based on a 4nm manufacturing process with integrated 5G modems. The devices will be extremely quick as well as blazing fast as well.
There will be base models of the Galaxy S24 series having enormous amounts of RAM and storage options will range from 8GB to 16GB of RAM and from 128GB to 1TB of internal storages. MicroSD card's support for further expansion will also be there in the phones.

The phones will also pack fast charging, wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging features. The Galaxy S24 Ultra may also get a 45W fast charging option while the other two models might get a 25W fast charging option.
Galaxy S24 camera and AI
The camera, in its turn, is easily one of the main highlights of the Galaxy S24 series and Samsung has packed some noteworthy hardware along with great software features to augment photography and videography experience. Both the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ will feature a 50MP primary camera with OIS along with the 12MP ultrawide shooter, and the 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS.
According to the leaks, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will pack a 200MP main camera that supports OIS, a 12MP ultrawide shooter with autofocus, a 10MP telephoto camera with OIS and 3x optical zoom, as well as having a 50MP telephoto camera that gets 5x optical zoom and OIS. Furthermore, with the 50MP camera and a combo of 5x optical zoom and in-sensor crop, the Galaxy S24 Ultra has to offer something like 10x optical zoom-like quality.

A third AI feature is the "Nightography Zoom" in enhancing low light photos when zoomed into. uses the AI to reduce noise, improves sharpness and vibrant images on dark scenes. This is accessible at a touch of a button on the camera app while using the zoom function.
The fourth feature uses AI in the "Note Assist" feature, artificial intelligence integrated with Samsung's own Notes app. The AI goes through notes done by users and provides hints of changes, corrections, and innovations that are needed on the provided notes. For example, if a user writes date, it can add calendar reminder. If he writes math equation, it can solve it. If he writes sentence, it can check grammar and spelling.
Galaxy S24 price and availability
Well, it certainly has taken a long time since the announcement of the Galaxy S23 release date, but the wait is not as long for its successor.

The handset will be available across the globe in multiple markets. Most probably, pre-orders for the Galaxy S24 series will kick off shortly after the event, and shipping to start from early February.
The pricing of the Galaxy S24 series is not confirmed yet as of now, we expect them to be similar to that of the Galaxy S23 series which had begun at starting prices of $799 for the Galaxy S23, $999 for the Galaxy S23+, and $1,199 for the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
It's all making the Galaxy S24 series become some amongst the most fascinating and attractive flagship and innovative smartphone releases for 2024.
